The position is primarily focused on IL projects, but future opportunities in other states will be available to motivated and technically competent candidates.Job Summary The Project Manager (Highway) is part of Patrick's Infrastructure and Mobility Division within the Highway Sector. The right person will be responsible for managing IDOT, county, local municipality and/or ISTHA Phase I/II design projects. Current Projects that the candidate is anticipated to be able to manage range in a Patrick budget of $0.5 - $2 million (Design fee only).The right candidate will be able to interface with clients, lead the design team in the development and delivery of the project deliverables within the budget parameters, ensure the design developments follows Patrick's quality control process, and manage the design delivery schedule with the client expectations all while growing professionally. Manage the identification and business negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors during the bid phases, through an early involvement within the tender team, with collaboration of the business managers. Set up effective sourcing strategies, in line with strategic guidelines and business needs, providing for procurement's early involvement in the main business and business development processes. Become RINA's point of contact for procurement vendors in the North American market. Negotiate and finalize frame agreements and other contracts with vendors, to secure advantageous terms & conditions. Assist the internal clients (business units or requesting units) in preparing purchase requisitions and service acceptance. Apply corporate procedures aimed to guarantee common processes across the RINA Group companies and countries, improving internal standardization, communication, management, and company integrations. Provide training, information, and guidance on the procurement process across the organization. Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements. Control spend and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Professional RequirementsBachelor's degree preferably in a technical subject (i.e. Engineering) or Accounting/Finance. 8+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with strong focus on negotiation activities on a large scale. Experience in the engineering industry is preferred. Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, segregation of duties, accountability and division of responsibilities along the process. Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills with experience in collecting and analyzing data. Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math and logic. Facilities Supervisor Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000RINA Consulting, doing business as Patrick Engineering in the US, is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to provide for the efficient operation of its facilities across its North America sites, currently consisting of approximately 400 employees in 5 primary offices.This Supervisor will provide for a comfortable and compliant working environment, preserving the good condition of its infrastructure and ensuring the facilities are safe and well-functioning. This position will report to the Head of International Property and Facilities and Technical Management. Initially, this supervisor role will not have direct reports.Primary Responsibilities In partnership with the International Property & Facility team, manage lessee requirements as detailed in current office leases; facilitate renewal and the procurement of new office leases and any other facilities needed for the business Manage a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) Schedule and conduct daily/weekly/monthly/annual inspections as appropriate. Manage all office maintenance contractors & vendors, as well as their contracts, to keep office spaces in good repair. Submit work orders for the maintenance and repair items following the procurement process as well as the respective landlords' process. Manage intake, assignments, and completion of items submitted through the ticketing system.
