JOB DESCRIPTION Job SummaryThe Electrician is responsible for installing and repairing all electrical devices of the plant. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any / all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list: Troubleshoots 480VAC 3 phase motor control circuits. Troubleshoots industrial control circuits Modifies circuits in industrial machines and systems. Changes all size motors from fractional to 500 H.P. Troubleshoots PLC systems. Installs control systems for rebuilds or new systems. Installs and testing Ethernet networks. Troubleshoots and installing VFD motor controls. Electrician disassembles defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, and reassembles equipment. Responsible for replacing all fuses, light sockets, bulbs and switches. Additional Responsibilities: Performs other duties assigned from management. Education and Experience: At least one to three years of experience working in a manufacturing environment and electrical drafting experience. This position requires some form of formal electrical training such as: Union apprentice Military training Industrial experience Trade school College Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English Ability to read and simple reference electrical schematic and drawings.
