Position Description: ​ 2nd shift 3pm-11:30pm Perform duties to load and unload raw and finished materials via tank trucks and rail cars with a Safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a Safety-culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees. Primary Responsibilities: Control product flow by tracing lines, opening/closing valves, and operating appropriate pumps as determined by line usage or product Load and unload materials from tanker trucks and railroad cars Maintain traffic operations by following and adjusting shipment schedules; communicating with laboratory and sales to acquire shipping documentation; communicating with delivery personnel to verify receipt of arrivals and loading instructions Prepare shipments by insuring loads contain correct product, weights, and required paperwork Inspect vehicles (trucks/rail cars) and equipment for cleanliness and acceptability of loads Documents shipping and receiving logs by recording product, weight and arrival/shipment time Provide direction to the Railroad regarding the movement of rail cars in and out of the plant and assists the Railroad as needed Operate the shuttle wagon or participate in ground work activities during the internal rail car switching process Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements and regulations Maintain work environment by cleaning pump house and equipment; including but not limited to tanks and rail cars, and other areas as assigned Performs other duties as assigned Provide support and assistance to others especially when moving heavy objects Complies with and adheres to all employee safety and food safety programs Supervisory/Management Responsibilities: Not applicable. Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent Able to speak, read and write English Basic math skills Able to measure accurately in feet and inches using tape measures and rulers Basic working knowledge of computers Able to work variable shifts, overtime and weekends as needed Valid driver's license Physical Requirements: Able to frequently lift, up to and occasionally in excess of, 50 pounds Able to tolerate extreme weather conditions; working outside Able to scale tank trucks and rail cars in addition to excessive walking; stair and ladder climbing; and tolerate heights

Job Description Summary The Van Driver (VD) operates the hotel van to and from guest destinations in a safe and courteous manner.Job DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards. Respond to all guest requests for shuttle service in a prompt and courteous manner; assist guests with luggage while boarding and off-loading vehicle.Operate vehicle in accordance with state laws; observe all airport rules pertaining the shuttle vehicles.Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets and services to guests and provide information regarding local attractions and activities.Perform daily inspection of vehicles; take necessary action to correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions; keep vehicle clean and neat at all times.Maintain vehicle mileage log.Regularly inspect and clear hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.Assist in housekeeping and/or laundry duties to include house attendant rounds and the washing, drying folding of hotel laundry.Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other shifts and departmental management.Ensure guest special requests are fulfilled and proper delivery of guest services is delivered.Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws regarding health, and safety.Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or equivalent required.One year of previous hotel experience, or retail customer service preferred.Previous background from the extended stay industry preferred.Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.Professional verbal and written communication skills.Valid driver's license required.Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 100 pounds.Frequently handling objects and equipment.Will be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays.
