This role will also work closely with the other internal sales desks and internal business partners to support client/advisor needs and business objectives.Accurately track all activity and pipeline information in Salesforce.com and track/submit all business expenses in Concur Expense Management system.Partner with subject matter experts across the firm and outside of the firm to continually improve the quality of advice being given to clients. This includes supporting development of new strategies and on-going maintenance of existing processes, tools, and services.Provide support and participate in advisor/client presentations and field facing events. Play a backup for RVP in presentations and events as required.In partnership with RVP, travel within region as required to participate in one-on-one Ameriprise Financial Advisor sales calls, conduct client events, and to deliver group presentations, including continuing education/training. OVERVIEW Our client base has ongoing, immediate needs for an Strategic Accounting Consultant to support project-based initiatives and interim coverages during peak times, at a Controller-level skill-set, and always doing hands-on work. Vaco Consultants will be responsible for adhering to accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position will need to work to tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end client audit projects, and the support of budget and forecast activities.
