Location: Allentown, PASalary: $120,000.00 USD Annually - $140,000.00 USD AnnuallyDescription: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)Position Overview: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in our organization, overseeing financial management, strategic planning, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Accounting Department. Reporting directly to the President, the CFO is responsible for maintaining financial health, accurate reporting, and compliance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Financial Oversight:Supervise the accounting team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.Perform month-end closings and meticulously record journal entries.Prepare consolidated financial statements, providing critical insights to upper management.Conduct thorough account analysis to identify trends and opportunities.Tax Compliance and Reporting:Prepare annual tax returns, collaborating with external accountants and auditors.Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents.Monitor cash balances and reconcile bank accounts.Benefit Administration:Oversee benefit programs, including Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), and Health Insurance Renewal.Manage executive payroll and administer the 401(k) plan.Data and Record Management:Prepare and submit government surveys and census data requests.Maintain corporate records and annual board of director meeting minutes.Manage the company credit card program.Cost Analysis and Optimization:Analyze overhead costs and product costs, identifying areas for improvement.Ensure efficient sales commission calculations and maintain sales order reports.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
