Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school or an equivalent degree, and they must possess academic credentials or practice experience demonstrating both expertise in the relevant subject area and the potential for outstanding classroom instruction. Subject areas may include all aspects of civil, criminal, and public law, including but not limited to: Accounting for Lawyers, Antitrust, Construction Law, Criminal Procedure (including Pretrial, Trial, and Postconviction), Election Law, Entertainment Law, Federal Jurisdiction, Healthcare Liability, Intellectual Property (including Copyright, Patents, and Trademarks), Nonprofit Law, Taxation (including Corporate and Partnership Tax), and Workers' Compensation.
