This position may be remote hybrid eligible.Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in interior design from a Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) institution and two (2) years of commercial interior design experience; OR master's degree in interior design from a Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) institution and some commercial interior design experience.Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.Skills and Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of building codes, construction regulations and accessibility design. Proficient in AutoCAD and/or ReVIT (or other industry accepted software) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Expertise in interior finishes and relevant performance standards. Basic understanding of commercial furniture. Ability to provide furniture drawings that reflect compliance with codes such as ADA and life safety.
