DESCRIPTIONProject Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Senior Reliability Engineer will proactively drive the design for reliability for Kuiper hardware systems. This role has responsibility for developing and leading the reliability process, and staffing a team to deliver on program reliability objectives. This role will require interfacing closely with subsystem teams, provide technical input and guidance on designs, and support as needed with detailed analysis and test capabilities. The candidate will have experience in using Physics-of-Failure based approach to develop and implement both analytical and empirical approaches for product quality/reliability risk identification and assessment during product design, manufacturing, testing and deployment stages. At the component level, the individual will drive critical component identification and the associated vendor selection and qualification requirements.
