The Technical Writer is proactive in taking on and mastering increasing responsibilities.What you will contribute:All the accountabilities of an Associate Technical Writer.Understands the Solutions Development Framework.Develops new documentation following DCoE standards and maintains existing documentation utilizing strong time management skills.Actively participates in documentation planning processes.Understands and develops application process workflows beyond documenting features and functions.Works diplomatically and effectively with subject matter experts and program and product managers in resolving issues.Participates and interacts as a collaborative member in all project team meetings and suggests process improvements.Facilitates documentation walkthrough meetings with project team members when needed.Understands the overall features of the product and has intermediate comprehension of the application(s) to which they are assigned including therelationship to other applications.Uses TFS to report defects or suggest enhancements to the product, as needed.Keeps the release coordinator/team lead informed of progress or is a release coordinator and works with manager to estimate effort for projects.Continues ongoing training in technical communication including industry trendsExperience in healthcare industry, with a focus on Risk AdjustmentExperience with MA/ACA Risk Scoring methodology, including familiarity with condition categories (HCC)Strong written and verbal communication skillsCritical Thinking and Problem-Solving SkillsStrong Organizational SkillsAbility to interface with both external and internal personnel at all levels.Professional and interpersonal skillsAbility to work within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Technical / Business experience Required2-4 years relevant work experience Preferred2 to 4 years of successful work as an Associate Technical Writer. 5 years overall experience.
