Act as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesProgram, troubleshoot, and operate programmable controllers, distributive control, and interlocking systems.Install equipment for new electrical services (120v, 240v, and 480v, three phases), including wiring, conduit, panels, breakers, contactors, relays, times, and controls.Perform work on-site automation system to the component level, including components that require 0–10-volt signal or 4-20 milliamp signal repair.Perform electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair; install or replace circuit breakers, fuses, and variable speed.Work on electrical equipment including but not limited to Frequency Drives (VFDs), contactors, overload devices, fixtures, switches, receptacles, and wiring.
