California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086Duties: Manage the evolution of multiple components of an eCommerce payments and financial services platform by collaborating with architects, services, product managers, and the Vice President (VP) of Platform Architecture to develop, maintain, and evangelize the technical product roadmap(s) associated to assigned area(s). Develop technical product specifications for the architecture of underlying platform components by using artifacts such as systems flows, product requirement documents, and logical data models. Manage vendor relationships by identifying emerging technology platforms; evaluating and selecting vendors or potential technology acquisitions; negotiating agreements and contracts; managing partners integration; securing necessary engagement and resource alignment for the creation of code developed product features; and managing the budget associated with a platform component build. Develop and champion product strategies for one or more complex platform components and the roadmap for one or more platform product areas in support of architectural vision and principles established by the office of the CTO by leveraging consumer insights, competitive analysis, and insights of emerging technologies to identify new product opportunities and enhancements. Work with multiple functions to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions. Support product implementation and deployment by engaging with Platform Engineering and Scrum Masters. Guide technical product managers during implementation to make scope trade off decisions. Work closely with services product managers to launch products on top of foundational components of the platform and ensure their adoption. Coordinate post-launch activities to validate that the product works as designed and that acceptance was successful. Manage the development of training materials. Train and support users on new product features and define, track, and improve key product metrics. Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning. Supervise four (4) employees (2 Senior Product Manager(s), 1 Staff Product Manager, and 1 Manager I, Product Management).Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 3 years of product management experience; OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related field and 6 years of product management experience.Skills required: Experience leveraging Web Analytics and Business Intelligence using Mixpanel, Zeppelin and Tableau. Experience executing A/B Testing using Expo and Optimizely. Experience with SQL and Relational Database Management Systems. Experience with APIs, HTML, CSS, AJAX, MVC, C, C++, C#, and JavaScript. Experience with Website Funnel Conversion Optimization. Experience with UX prototyping using Figma. Experience as a Scrum Product Owner. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.Salary Range: $239,200/year to $286,00/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
