This clinician demonstrates an understanding of child development and has the expertise and flexibility to provide therapeutic interventions, based on the needs of each child and family. An unlicensed clinician ("Clinician I") works under the close supervision of a licensed clinician; a licensed clinician ("Clinician II") provides clinical services with a greater degree of independent functioning and may supervise trainees, but continues to receive the benefit of clinical supervision to promote continued professional development, support and quality clinical services.
