An MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.CPCU, ARE or other industry designations are preferred.A minimum of 5-10years of experience in progressively advancing underwriting roles in the insurance industry and/or in the reinsurance brokerage sector.Strong industry relationships and well respected by reinsurance brokers and insurers.Working knowledge of actuarial and pricing concepts. Experience partnering with actuarial teams to price and structure reinsurance treaties.A thorough understanding of the underlying business.A strong grasp of policy forms and pricing schemes.
