LHH has partnered with a leading home builder in Scottsdale, AZ. who is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a direct hire basis. As the AP Specialist, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including high volume 3-way matching invoices to purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable, and proficiency in using a large ERP based software as well as Excel.We trust that as an Accounts Payable Administrator you will:Ensure all invoices/POs are paid within termsInteract with vendors and accounting teams to obtain accurate general ledger coding information and resolve payables-related problemsReview accounts payable edits for errors and ensure any necessary corrections are madeDemonstrate Service Excellence in all interactions with internal and external customersDemonstrate flexibility while operating in a highly professional mannerManage vendor relationsAssist with month end as it relates to accounts payableSort and distribute incoming invoices and paperwork on a daily basisProcess high volume of invoices and purchase ordersIssue checks/EFT payments in a timely manner consistent with the AP payment scheduleProcess utility payments and monitor timely disconnect of servicesPrepare and issue daily Rush Check paymentsManage 20-day preliminary lien notices and lien waivers to ensure compliance by trades and vendorsRespond to vendor inquiries and research any aged payablesSetup and maintain vendor recordsFile and maintain accounting records and store/transition files at year endEnsure timely return of invoices distributed to department heads for approvalProductively provide Accounts Payable Supervisor and Controller with divisional financial information as requiredYou are willing to perform other duties as assignedIf you are an AP Specialist with ERP software experience who thrives in a fast-paced high volume environment and is committed to accuracy, we encourage you to apply.
