Description Specialization:PsychiatryJob Summary:Job Title: Outpatient Behavioral Health Medical Director Opportunity in San Jose, CAJob Description:Under general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with the administrative team, the Behavioral Health Medical Director provides quality direct patient care and administrative services to a multidisciplinary team in a variety of clinical setting. The Medical Director is responsible for the direction and oversight of psychiatric evaluations, medications, and treatment planning management of patients in the in all outpatient programs such as PHP and IOP as well as leadership of a behavioral health treatment team.Qualified Candidates:The Medical Director will-Serve as Medical Director of clinical programs engaged in psychiatric care; provide medical supervision and administrative direction to medical providers who provide care to patients including advance practice nurses and support the staffProvide leadership and participate in developing a vision and service line opportunities for behavioral health programming that meets community need and is financially and operationally sustainable.
