Ensures availability of sufficient cleaned and inspected parts and hardware to preclude delay of test engine build-ups. Performs shop clean-up duties to ensure orderliness and safety of work areas. Maintains and services cleaning equipment. Performs other duties as required. Schedule: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday-Friday What it takes to be successful in this role: High school diploma or GED. 6+ months experience in the automotive field is desired. Ability to use automotive mechanic hand tools. Must be able to read and follow shop manual directions and special written instructions. Good computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel desired. Heavy exposure to noxious fumes requiring the use of respiratory equipment. Requires the use of safety glasses, shoes, and hearing protection. Requires ability to lift and carry heavy engine parts and 49 lb. lubricant containers.
