Make an impactAs our Senior Tax Associate, you will work closely with the Tax Managers within the Tax Department and specifically focus on managing our various tax preparation engagements with third-party preparers, as well as manage the preparation of corporate and partnership returns.Partner with outsourced firms to prepare thousands of K1 packages and associated annual reporting.Review federal and state tax returns prepared by third party preparersManage quarterly fixed asset depreciation processes in Sage Fixed Asset Software and Yardi Accounting Software for existing and new assetsHelp manage exposure to FATCA legislation and Foreign investor reporting, including preparation of Forms 8804/8805 and Forms 1042 for various entitiesPrepare quarterly and other periodic tax withholding and estimated payments for the partnerships and corporations within the various fund structures Calculate taxable income and tax liability estimates for disposed assetsWhat you should bringExcellent Microsoft Excel skillsProficient understanding of tax depreciation and calculations, especially related to the real estate industryExperience interfacing with Federal and State tax authoritiesInvestor reporting ability for a private or public company, or with foreign bankingFamiliarity with SAGE Fixed Asset Software, Yardi Asset Management Software, or similar productsBig Four accounting firm experienceExperience reviewing, U.S., multistate partnership, international tax returns and US filings for foreign persons/entitiesWhat you can be part ofOur team plays an intricate role in Bridge Investment Group.
