You will devise innovative solutions at scale, pushing the technological and science boundaries. You will guide the design, research and implementations of distributed inference system and optimization techniques focusing on latency reduction and throughout improvement for large-language model. You will devise and implement state-of-the-art inference optimization solutions at scale. You will be technically hands-on and drive the execution from ideation to productionization. You will work in collaborative environment with other technical and business leaders, to innovate on behalf of the customer.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Palo Alto, CA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
