Areas of Accountability • Supervise the delivery of a range of raw materials and finished goods to ensure all goods and supplies are stored and recorded following established procedures. • Manage Shipping/Warehouse related documentation and records (general production & compliance related). • Coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and picking and staging of outbound shipments. • Provide concise reporting to management on shipping/warehousing performance, issues, and actions. • Develop clear and easy to follow warehouse processes that drive consistency and accountability. • Move goods as necessary, including loading and unloading of trailers. Manage Inventory • Ensure materials and finished goods are organized and prepared to facilitate month end inventory counts. • Manage requests for inventory counts throughout the month as needed by production or the planning team. • Implement and manage Kanban inventory levels. • Audit shipping/warehouse related work and core processes for adherence and improvement purposes. Safety & Quality Focus • Follow all standardized shipping procedures and collaborate with Quality department to ensure zero shipping related quality issues. • Respond to assigned issues and ensure that root cause is determined, and corrective actions are implemented to drive improvement. • Ensure shipping associates follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE. • Ensure compliance with forklift safety procedures, daily inspections, and report equipment issues. Lee Dairyhas immediate job openings for fast paced and motivated warehouse operator-cooler (forklift certified) to perform any combination of picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery, and working any station or line that is assigned.
