You have the freedom to schedule your assigned patients for the day at a time that is convenient for the both of you while getting paid to drive from patient to patient along with IRS mileage reimbursement.JOB OVERVIEWUsing a variety of nursing skills such as physical assessment, medication management, wound care, IV therapy/care, enteral care, catheter care and comfort carePreforming and documenting assessments, cares, education, evaluations based on physician orders on each nursing visit Preforming and documenting comprehensive assessments at admission, recertification, resumption and discharge based on physician orders Assessing physical, mental and psychosocial needs of patients and developing a plan of care based on physician orders, patients input and nursing assessmentCommunicating/coordinating with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other clinicians involved in the patients cares in regard to patients condition, treatments and progress.Educating to patient, caregivers and other team members necessary to assist patients/family members in meeting desired goals and outcomes to keep patient safe in their home.Oversee/supervise Home Health Aides and develop a written personal care plan/instructions for them to follow based on patients wishes and physician ordersParticipate in monthly on call duties.SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:Current RN license for Nebraska or multi-compact state, maintains license and CEU's per state regulations.Current CPR license at all timesValid Driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance.Reliable transportationMust be bondable and pass required background checks.Strong communication and listening skills; be able to follow verbal and written instructions;Compassionate, patient and caring in nature and genuinely concerned about helping peopleHave high moral standards of honesty and integrityFriendly, courteous, tolerant of other's lifestyles, nonjudgmental in relation to patients/co-workersAbility to work independently in home setting with minimal direct supervision.Flexible in scheduling needs of patients and company and accepts assignments to trade cases/hours in a positive and professional mannerMust be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of care givingAvailable to work occasional evenings, weekends, holidays and take call as needed
