Day to day:Insight Global is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join one of our Luxury Retail Watch clients and sit in Long Island City. This person will be joining the Architectural Design Division and will be responsible for ensuring the department's productivity and quality rate goals are consistently met and maintained. Additional goals and outcomes for this role's success would be ensuring that spare parts usage rate is consistent with department goals, that SOP's and safety protocols are followed, that proper conditions of tools and equipment, and that jobs and trays are properly processed through central coordination station OR through WMI at personal work station. There are several types of tasks that could be included in a normal day-to-day for this resource; de-caser tasks, assembler tasks, dialer and caser tasks, polisher tasks, bracelet attachment tasks, case and bracelet cleaner tasks, etc. This person must be physically capable of sitting at a watchmaking bench, occasionally required to lift/carry 15 pounds, frequently stand at polishing machines, and strong vision or corrective wear. Must Haves:3+ years of professional experience Experience working in a Workshop, Warehouse, or Factory Organizational skills and attention to details Relevant computer applications (Microsoft Suite)Plusses:Watch repair/technician experience Alpha-numeric recognition
