Junior Case Manager: Advice & Specialty Advice Manager

Deliver financial planning expertise and assist advisors in analyzing the financial situation of high-net-worth clients, develop strategies and make recommendations for Advanced Advice client cases. If you are not located close to a physical Ameriprise office, remote work is considered for qualified candidates.The estimated base salary for this role is $96,200 - $129,900 per year. Base salaries are determined in part based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. This includes supporting development of new strategies as well as ongoing maintenance of existing processes, tools and services.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.CFP or ChFC.5+ years of relevant work experience.Expert level knowledge in complex financial planning issues.Solid understanding of financial planning process, tools and compliance/quality.Minimum of three (3) or more of the following disciplines: estate, tax, small business, retirement, stock options.Ability to clearly communicate complicated concepts over the phone and e-mail.Ability to quickly analyze complex situations and synthesize into easy-to-understand advice.Ability to work both independently and collaborate with others across organization.Ability to design and develop a new service.Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 daysState IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 daysPreferred QualificationsExperience presenting to professionals.Previous experience working with NaviPlan, MoneyGuide, Bloomberg Income Tax Planner, StockOpter or other common financial planning tools and software.Advanced degree in a related field such as Juris Doctorate (J.D or M.S. in Financial ServicesAbout Our CompanyWe're a diversified financial services leader with more than $1 trillion in assets under management and administration.
