ROLE DESCRIPTION The Technical Project Manager/Scrum Master is a project manager role focused on successful management of OneOme solutions and services related to customer integrations, implementations and internal Business and IT projects. The successful candidate will work as a subject matter expert in project management, scope definition, risk identification and resource allocation. The candidate will be a facilitative leader and liaison among stakeholders and IT resources, chief communicator, and guide to implementation efforts. The position requires a mixture of business and IT process understanding and project management; with the ability to address project roadblocks and escalate appropriately. Expected to lead, guide, mentor, and/or direct the work of other team members, subject matter experts, business analysts, clinical, technical and software development resources during the implementation life cycle. The position will partner with various cross-functional teams, employing a hybrid delivery mode that brings together best practices from Waterfall, Iterative, Agile Scrum and Agile Kanban methodologies to deliver internal and external customer success. This resource might also assist with software release updates.RESPONSIBILITIES • Coordinate with business development during the sales process to understand external client product demands, develop project plans and implementation timelines. • Oversee everyday workflow of implementation processes, provide support to internal and external stakeholders, and manage project risks. • Manage planning & execution of OneOme's technology platform development• Directs software designers and programmers to determine best methods to achieve project objectives• Ensure implementations are completed on time, within budget and exceed client expectations.• Collaborate with the business development, product management, clinical development and technical departments to ensure compliance to client requirements. • Develop processes and tools for customer implementation lifecycle and ensure efficient implementation of all solutions.• Oversee launch testing, identify any defects, and provide a format to share with marketing and technical departments. • Monitor metrics and create monthly reporting specific to client requirements. • Support the software development team with releases.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES • Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery within budget, schedule, scope and quality.• Demonstrated ability to analyze business and project needs and determine priorities.• Experience with the project management lifecycle and project management concepts.• Experience managing project plans for projects according to established methodology (e.g., utilizing PMBOK and CMM guidelines). • Experience managing in a matrix environment. • Experience with agile, iterative, waterfall and hybrid projects. • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict resolution at all levels within an organization.• Demonstrated ability to concurrently manage multiple projects. • Ability to interact effectively with staff at different levels of the company, as well as with external vendors and customers. • Ability to work under pressure, meet goals, and hold others accountable for their commitments. ?• Proven leadership skills and ability to successfully drive change within an organization. In this role, you will contribute to software development activities by developing, documenting, testing, modifying, and maintaining new and existing software applications.
