Location: REMOTESalary: $45.00 USD Hourly - $55.00 USD HourlyDescription: Our client is currently seeking a RF/DOCSIS Engineer Ideal Candidate:-Looking for 2 mid level engineers to work as outside RF plant engineers - will be primarily remote with some travel as needed (no more than 10%). - Need strong RF experience - understanding RF maps, RF nodes, spectrum maps, etc. and understand the connections within RF - Primarily troubleshoot data transmission and transport- handling RF escalations so must be technical and experienced -Must have exposure to DOCSIS/understanding of DOCSIS platforms- Experience evaluating and troubleshooting power supply for radios and nodes - Working with SNMP/Simple Network Management Protocol for IP networks - Any experience with network topology is a huge plus -Deploying over 7,000 CBRS radios in the next 6 months - huge undertaking-Confirm device power supplies - hands on experience working with Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS) -Provide support to installers live in the field on modem support, upstream downstream power, and evaluate signal to noise ratio-Will be working on basic RF troubleshooting and cable modem support -Troubleshooting daily - this team is an escalation point for outside engineers -Advise on risk mitigation within RF - must have 1+ years of experience with DOCSIS (telecom specific) Contact: [email protected] job and many more are available through The Judge Group.
