Responsibilities: Collaborate with Project Architects, Engineers and Construction Managers to provide innovative design solutions to projects during all phases of design Interface with clients, owners and contractors Design air-side mechanical systems, including DX and chilled water AHU•s, ductwork sizing, and computer room air-handline units. Design water-side mechanical systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and piping Provide HVAC load calculations Responsible for project phasing plans including temporary measures to maintain services in our client•s live facilities Facilitate facility evaluations, engineering studies, and trouble shooting Train, coach and mentor less experienced staff Requirements: BS in Architectural Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Must be a Licensed Professional Mechanical Engineer in at least one state. At least 12 years of related experience with at least 2 years of mission critical experience. AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 experience a plus, but not required Organizational skills with an attention to detail Strong communication skills, both oral and written Interest in working in a collaborative team environment It•s More Than Just A Job•At GBA, we are not your average architectural engineering firm.
