Engages and manages temporary agencies to ensure the fulfillment of open positions. Audits agency compliance. Manages Human Resources Business Partners with combined responsibility for several human resource functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, training, equal employment/affirmative action, records, safety and health, benefits and employee services. Conducts research into human resource programs and activities and recommends changes or innovations where desirable. Coordinates, partners and delivers vendor and/or DHL-developed training courses for employees. Manages risk associated with employee relations. Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and developing subordinate staff. Assigns work, sets completion dates, reviews work, and manages performance in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and performance management processes. Corresponds with HR Director and Corporate HR to document and assist the General Manager in resolving employee issues and/or employee disciplinary matters. Fosters and maintains an employer friendly environment Facilitates effective and timely communication between all levels of employees. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred PHR certification required. 5 years of supervisory experience. 8 years progressive HR related experience required to include recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, time keeping, and safety, preferably within a warehouse/production environment. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Able to work several hours at night/early morning at least once per week. Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills. High level of confidentiality. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical Demands: Physical demands are consistent with a warehouse setting Regular sitting at work station for 25 – 75% of the work shift Frequent standing and walking Up to 10% travel required, to visit other sites, train other employees and attend meetings. Able to work a range of shifts based on operational need. RESPONSIBILITIES Assist Operations and Maintenance departments in finding material and parts in the warehouse and storage areasCoordinate/perform physical movement and paper transfer of materials to meet operations schedulesReceive material into the plant and warehouse physically and in any applicable systems dailyOperate equipment to assist with load outs or off loads in the warehouse and plantCompile and maintain manual or computerized records, such as yard logs, material transfers, available inventory, status and location of materials.Responsible to add, subtract, and maintain part inventory in CMMS, and adjust BOM for work orders and PM's in CMMS. Ensure safe work practices are always implemented. Report any safety issue or problem to supervisor and EHS Manager immediately.Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality programs and policies, and be accountable for the performance of these programs in the Maintenance Department.QUALIFICATIONS High School Education required1-3 years of maintenance experience required; plant maintenance preferred.Must be accurate, accountable, and detail-oriented team player.Need general parts, electrical, and mechanical equipment understanding.Ability to learn process equipment, equipment locations and plant orientation to be able to identify part and equipment as needed.Ability to work in adverse weather conditions if needed. Ability to work overtime and or weekends as needed for plant outages and scheduled planned maintenance.Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
