This role will supervise the functions and working of the warehouse employees, delegate and assign tasks, and evaluate the work of the shift. The Operations Supervisor will adhere to all safety procedures and SOPs and ensure the efficiency of the shift staff. This role will facilitate daily start up meetings to address company updates and discuss workflow and encourage employee feedback. The Operations Supervisor will organize and conduct necessary training for employees, ensure proper functioning and safe operations of all warehouse tools and equipment, and work effectively with Facility Manager and other functional team members to support customer KPIs and SLAs. This role observes and enforces all safety rules in an effort to eliminate accidents and injuries and understands and complies with all applicable company policies. To ensure success as an Operations Supervisor, you will: Drive specific initiatives to achieve business results, Proactively plan daily work orders to meet customer demands, and ensure accurate inventory.Work with Inventory Control to ensure that all product integrity is maintained. Foster an environment that encourages employee involvement, commits to quality of work from self and others, and provides leadership for mutual benefit of the company, customers, and employees. Be held accountable to comply with all defined business process and the utilization of all technology platforms, as defined by FST. Provide leadership, document work productivity, and provide training and counseling of shift staff.
