Aligned with a team of CIGNA Healthcare Sales Professionals, the DSE is positioned as the market leader for the dental product. Overall responsibilities are broadly defined in the categories of market strategy, new business development, client retention, training/coaching and product expertise. The incumbent is expected to ensure the successful attainment of all assigned membership and profitability goals in the assigned territory. In most instances, the DSE operates quite independently, with only broad management direction from local sales management and with limited coaching and counseling from the Dental organization.
