Responsibilities What you will be challenged to do: TranSystems has an immediate opening for an Entry Level Bridge Engineer in our Fort Worth office. This position includes structural design, rehabilitation, and inspection of bridges, tunnels, culverts, overhead structures, retaining walls, and other structures along with the preparation of load ratings, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates. In addition, duties may include construction inspection services. While we provide services for both, the highway and railway industry, the focus of this position is on the railway discipline. Day-to-day assignments and technical guidance will be provided by current staff. Applicants must possess strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to travel for projects, the ability to work in the field conducting bridge inspections and site visits up to 35% of the time and must be able to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects. This position is in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area with no relocation assistance.   General Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assists others in analyzing information and data to perform routine and complex structural design and bridge load rating tasks.
