Location: Fort Worth, TXDescription: Judge Healthcare is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for an opening with one of our top clients in the Ft Worth, TX area ASAP!Position Details:Title: Certified Medical AssistantLocation: Ft Worth, TX 76110Type of engagement: ContractHours: Monday - Friday 8am-5:00pmSpecific Duties:Performs all duties within a Medical Assistants scope of practiceOrganizes the clinical environment and provides support in patient care situations to assist physicians, APCs and nursesPerform patient-oriented procedures and medication administration under MA scope of practiceOperates diagnostic equipment (cannot interpret tests), remove staples from superficial wounds, changes wound dressing and obtains cultures, administers non-intravenous medication, performs simple specimen collection via noninvasive techniques and collects blood specimens via venipuncture or via capillary, performs EKGs. Performs quality control checks on equipment.
