Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Project Engineer, Structure in Fort Lauderdale, FL to prepare analysis and designs for structural elements and systems. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, or a related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: preparing construction documents using Revit; coordinating with engineers to meet project specifications and building codes (Florida State and International); preparing Finite Analysis Models using ETABS, SAP, RAM Concept, and SAFE; preparing calculation packages for performed design to submit to building authority or peer reviewer for permitting purposes; preparing responses to contractor questions including providing field fixes and clarification on project requirements; reviewing contractor submittals and approve or reject as appropriate. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
