Providing Hope and Empowerment through recovery from mental illness Case ManagementThe Mental Health Cooperative is a behavioral health agency exclusively serving adults with serious mental illness and children and adolescents with serious emotional disorders through illness management, rehabilitation, and recovery. With services based on the Assertive Community Treatment approach, MHC utilizes a team treatment model that combines the work of case managers, a team supervisor, a psychiatrist, an Advanced Practice Nurse and a Registered Nurse to give consumers the best service and resources available. Psychiatric Clinic MHC’s psychiatric clinic is integrated into all clinical services offered by MHC. After establishing a diagnosis, MHC utilizes evidence based treatment protocols to assist the consumer in finding the most effective, individualized treatment plan for them. Crisis Care MHC's crisis team is the first line of response for adults (ages 18 and older) who are experiencing a mental health crisis in Davidson County. Support Services Everything we do is rooted in relationship building and fueled by the belief that “there is life after diagnosis.” We believe that building trustworthy relationships is key to breaking down barriers that often impede recovery and rehabilitation. In our eyes, healthy relationships play a priceless role in recovery. Additionally, our team works tirelessly to communicate a message of hope to the clients: hope that they are not alone, hope that they can learn how to face challenges and overcome obstacles; hope that recovery is possible.
