As the premier level I trauma center within 100 miles of metro Atlanta, we make sure full trauma surgical teams are in the hospital 24/7 - ready when you need us. Speaking of doctors, Grady is an internationally recognized teaching hospital staffed exclusively by doctors from Emory University and Morehouse schools of medicine. In fact, 25 percent of all doctors practicing medicine in Georgia received some or all of their training at Grady. We are also accredited by The Joint Commission – that shows patient care and safety matter to us.
