PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of leadership in accounting. The Senior Accountant performs general and specialized accounting duties requiring advanced professional experience, knowledge and competency in a accounting principles and practices. Prepare journal entries and monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.Prepare balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.Perform general ledger account analyses.Review cash receipts, A/R billing (invoicing), A/P trial balance and reports prepared by the Accounting Specialists.Prepare and review statutory and compliance reports. Assist in annual audit preparation. Prepare financial and ad hoc analyses.Complete special projects as necessary.Assist the Senior Accountant and Lead Accountant as neededQualificationsBachelors degree in accounting is required.3+ years of general accounting with preparing financial statements experience and working knowledge of GAAP.Strong PC skills; excellent knowledge/skills of Excel. Good verbal and written communication skills.Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving and time management skills.Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet deadlines.Ability to manage multiple projects and achieve timely and accurate results. Self-driven, highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial dataThis role will pay between $30hr and $35hr based on skills and background.
