(UIG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nucor and a well-established, global engineer, constructor, supplier and operator of air separation plants and related equipment and services, based in Bethlehem, PA. UIG owns and operates production plants across the USA which supply both Nucor steel sites and third-party clients 24/7 with tonnage quantities of oxygen, nitrogen and argon as well as exporting liquid cryogenic products by road tanker.UIG has an immediate opening for a Process Systems Engineer in Bethlehem, PA, although there is potential for this position to work remotely on a regularbasis.Responsibilities include:development of an accurate and timely Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) for cryogenic air separation and liquefaction projects which produce and distribute gaseous and liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon. This position does not require detailed knowledge or use of process design software like ASPEN, however those skills are a definite plus.
