Job Overview: The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for in-unit and common area maintenance and repair needs of the Association under the direction of the Chief Engineer. Your Responsibilities: Ensure quality checks on building mechanicals inclusive of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems. Maintain documents of inspections and related code compliance Provide oversight of contractors and ensure contractual fulfillment of services. Recommend, implement, and maintain quality controls for building systems and staff safety. Job Overview:The Product Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products comply with U.S. and worldwide standards for electrical safety and mechanicals needs based on NEC, UL and NEMA standards.Equipment to be certified includes full line of non-metallic conduit and raceways including electrical and telecommunication ducts and fittings.Reporting to the COO, the Product Compliance Engineer will work closely with the development teams, manufacturing, and quality department and project management during all stages of the product development and production cycle.It will also help the commercial and marketing team supplying technical support about the product offering, developing specifications sheets and training material.Duties:• Ensure that all hardware products are safe, legal, and fully compliant with all worldwide regulations.• Work closely with development teams to ensure new hardware designs comply with all relevant standards and requirements. Also participate in design reviews with an eye towards design-for-compliance and ensure that compliance issues do not negatively affect product launch dates.• Serve as subject matter expert regarding compliance requirements and provide necessary guidance to design teams regarding the interpretation of requirements.• Work with our Clients and final users to develop new products, systems, or procedures to improve the overall installation efficiency.• Work with the test and regulatory agencies to prepare and provide all necessary documentation and product submissions.
