Position Title: System Administrator Task Lead - GITMO Work Location: Guantanamo Bay, Cuba Job Summary KaiHonua, LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the System Administrator position and to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. As the Systems Administrator Task Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing operational and maintenance (O&M) support for a large-scale Information Technology (IT) Services program supporting the U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (NSGB). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth functioning of NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS system infrastructure, catering to approximately 400 users. Additionally, you will oversee O&M support for Special Access System infrastructure for approximately 150 users and Printer infrastructure, including Pharos Secure Print. Your role will involve developing, implementing, managing, and supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for thick/thin/zero clients and server virtualization technologies. You will also handle O&M support for SQL Database infrastructure, OMC server and desktop-based software applications, and data backup and restoration capabilities for various systems. Furthermore, you will support replication of network file share volumes via Distributed Files System w/ Replication (DFS-R) between NCR and NSGB locations and provide support for storage area network (SAN) and encrypted file storage capabilities. Compliance with DOD security standards is paramount, and you will create and maintain standalone workstation images accordingly. Your ability in systems recovery and repair operations, employing industry best practices for systems troubleshooting and fault isolation, will be critical. Also, you will play a key role in ensuring the distribution and installation of security patches, contributing to the program's overall security posture.
