This position does not offer relocation assistance. **Job Summary** The Business & Data Analytics team provides advanced data analytics support to multiple business units within the Company to answer complex questions about how our customers use energy at a geospatial level. This position focuses on providing analytical support to Dominion Energy Virginia’s Integrated Distribution Planning (IDP) effort, which is an emerging area of interest within our industry. **Responsibilities for this position include:** + Provide support to enhance grid planning efforts by conducting quantitative analysis on actual and forecasted load at a granular scale. + Develop a detailed understanding of, as well as participate in advancement of company’s forecasts and methodologies, including statistical end-use models and exogenous models such as building & transportation electrification, distributed energy resources (DER) and data centers. + Develop statistical models to build or improve forecasting for components including DER. + Establish strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholder groups and individuals throughout the company. + Prepare assorted strategic planning deliverables for senior leadership. + Understand and incorporate as necessary internal drivers/initiatives and externalities in the strategic planning process across all DE businesses. + Support other Business & Data Analytics-related activities as needed, such as demand-side planning (DSP), load research studies, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) analytics. + Perform other duties as requested or assigned. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with both the Business & Data Analytics and Distribution Grid Planning teams, dividing their in-office time between both teams. **Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience** **Basic Qualifications:** + 2-3 years’ experience analyzing complex data and solving data-driven problems.
