Performs all mechanical and responsible for training, design, and continuity of systems for mission-critical environment.What youll do:Regulations: Performs calibrations FDA regulated and Nonregulated of Facility and Production equipment Develops and maintains equipment specifications in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and/or department operational needs critical for regulatory purpose. Interacts with production team and provides expertise support and consultation. Oversees operational activities in absence of Sr. Facilities Manager. Refrigeration Systems: Performs refrigeration repairs on all critical refrigeration equipment including cascade cooling systems. Liaison with tissue recovery, distribution, and donor logistics on related issues. HVAC Systems: Performs inspection, calibration and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems and facility systems equipment as scheduled and in manufacturers recommendations.Building Maintenance: Provides general building maintenance and repair in conjunction with Landlords of West Coast Facilities.Boiler System: Monitors and diagnoses boiler system to ensure proper operation, detect system malfunctions, determine corrective action and performs appropriate repairs. Performs inspection, calibration and preventive maintenance of boiler system as scheduled and in accordance with manufacturers recommendations.Documentation: Properly documents all inspections, completes all logs, and maintains all files current and up to date.Vendor relationship: Oversees and managing contractor services and processes. Liaison and SME for all vendors working in building.
