Metro One Loss Prevention Service Group is expanding and needs to hire security officers immediately to work in a corporate environment near Roanoke TX! Prior military, corrections or law enforcement is a plus. FULL - TIME WORK SCHEDULE, WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm DRESS CODE: Uniforms provided by Metro One. DUTIES: Monitoring access control and challenging those without proper identification.Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guests.Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs.Monitoring a CCTV system.Vehicle and Foot patrols of the interior and exterior. Checking in authorized personnel onsite.Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer.Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Qualified candidates will possess one or more of the following: Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Security Police, Corrections,) or any support role in a garrison or deployed area of operations)Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor's degree in protective services, business, or related fieldA minimum of 4 or more years of active service in any military branch with an honorable, medical, or general dischargeCriminal justice degree or Law enforcement, corrections. or military experience is a plus.2 years verifiable data center security experience3 years verifiable private/corporate security experience APPLY NOW!For immediate consideration.
