Services are not only delivered by internal personnel, but this position also oversees and coordinates the activities of contractors within areas or responsibility.Besides working closely with other supervisors/managers with FO&M as an integral member of the FO&M team, this individual works closely with and supports facilities managers in the Real Estate Office (REO), Dartmouth College Athletic Department (DCAD), Professional Schools, Residential Operations, and other College organizations.Dartmouth facilities include over 6.5 million square feet of space in 165 buildings, serving over 5,900 students and 4,000 faculty and staff in a variety of academic, research, administrative, athletic, and residential spaces. Steel mill in Western Tennessee needs a Supervisor for EAF MELTING. The Melt Shop Supervisor will work in the Melting operations responsible for Electric Arc Furnace (EAF), Supervision, Training, Safety, Process Improvement, Quality, SOP, Planning, Team Development, Performance Assessments, Best Practices, etc.• Must have at least five years' experience supervising steel melt shop workers.• Will improve production volume, reduce delays, and improve process reliability.• Experience in continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing, especially as it applies to steel or other primary metals, is required.• A strong background in automation in the steel industry is a plus.• Will consider people have completed high school and have solid experience in the steelmaking or other heavy industry.• Experience in Electric Furnace Melting, AOD Refining, or Continuous Casting preferred.• Must be comfortable using MS Office tools for reports and data collection.• Should have experience with continuous improvement in a safety-first environment.
