The Packager II is responsible for performing filling, capping, labeling, inspecting, packaging and cleaning activities on assigned tube and bottle filling line positions. Pepsi Bottling Ventures is based in NC, SC, MD, & DEPupose of Job:Effectively operates all the necessary equipment and/or machinery required for self-manufactured Bottled Water and/or Still Beverage. This position serves as a combination of QC Tech, Blow Fill Operator and/or Injection Molding Operator positions and must be well versed in all aspects of the line they operate.Job Duties: Operates the Blow Mold filler, the bottle labeler, and the shrink film packager or Injection molding lines, regrind, dryers, and blenders.Completes Internal and External sanitation.Monitors production line for beverage/preform quality by doing all line quality checks and keeping accurate paperwork.Samples product on an hourly and daily basis. Reports and records results as required by Pepsi-Cola North America in order to maintain certification to produce products. Tests finished product for quality.Drives a standup/sit down forklift.Sets up lines and changes package and product when necessary.Conducts light general and preventative maintenance ensuring the machine operates properly.Other duties as assigned.
