Promptly respond to maintenance requests from residents and property management, addressing various issues. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Efficiently troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues using diagnostic tools and problem-solving skills. Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs as necessary for aesthetic maintenance. Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance areas for a safe work environment. Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring quality and timeliness. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to coordinate maintenance activities and address concerns. Adhere to safety protocols, including OSHA guidelines, to ensure personal and collective safety. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using designated tools.   Skills and Requirements:  High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification preferred. Proven facilities maintenance experience, preferably in residential settings. Strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing building systems. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach. Ability to work independently or in a team. Good communication skills for interactions with stakeholders. Basic computer skills for record-keeping. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.   Working Conditions: This position requires working indoors and outdoors, occasionally in adverse weather conditions. May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance activities.
