Below is a brief overview of these programs (programs may vary by country or worker type):Health InsuranceDental InsuranceLife and Disability InsuranceFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramRetirement PlanPaid Time OffTuition ReimbursementHolman Motorcars, St. Louis has an outstanding opportunity for a Parts Counter Apprentice to join the Holman family!What will you do?Receive deliveries throughout the day and reconcile all pieces to the shipping documents to ensure accuracyEnsure that pieces received are in good condition and damage freeSort, organize and put away all pieces belonging to stockSort, organize, tag and deliver all special-order pieces to the appropriate person(s)Assemble, organize and package any returns for overnight or delivery service pickupPrepare a shipping label or Bill of Lading for outgoing packagesMaintain a clear and clean delivery dockUse mechanical hand tools such as carts, pallet jacks and cages to assist in moving and organizing partsUse the forklift for loading and unloading of palletized deliveries from delivery trailersMaintain all warehouse part storage areas for cleanliness and organizationPerform safety inspections daily and monthly, checking for ladders out of place, that the stairs are kept clear, fire extinguishers monthly inspections, etc.Perform daily forklift inspectionsTrain and qualify other forklift drivers as neededPerform daily delivery vehicle inspections for safety concerns- fluids, tire wear and pressure, etc.Assist in all other warehouse duties as necessary such as parts pulling and delivery to the shop, warranty return part retention and inventory counting/reconciliation.Shuttle customers to and from their desired destination (home, work, etc.) as neededPerform all other duties and special projects as assigned by Parts ManagerWhat are we looking for?Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not requiredA team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer serviceAbility to multi-task in a fast paced work environmentStrong organizational skills and detail orientedWorking knowledge of computersPossess a valid driver's license Schedule: 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday)#LI-SS1Holman is a global automotive leader that serves both commercial and consumer clients The Holman Way by always doing the right thing for our people, our customers, and the community since 1924.
