JOB SUMMARY The Waste Treatment Operator at Imagineering Enterprises, Inc, has the functional responsibility for Wastewater Treatment , Hazardous, and Non-Hazardous Waste Operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operate wastewater treatment system to meet requirements of permit and service the needs of productionMaintain readiness of wastewater equipment at all times. Be knowledgeable of, and be able to communicate instructions for, proper segregation of all wastestreams. Job Overview Sprays parts with proper chemical compound as contracted by our customer and documented on the DPC. Report to department Supervisor & Plant Manager. Responsibilities Read and comprehend specific work instructionsProper performance of basic spraying techniques Utilize safe methods of handling material, including chemicals, required in all aspects of processPerforming and understanding various mixing techniques, including testing of viscosity levels, and the effects achieved from different concentrationsProper maintenance, setup, use, and cleaning of equipment required to perform required processesBasic hanging methods and techniquesTesting and performance evaluation of dry films and other materials used in required processesProper use of ovens and other drying techniques, including curing temperatures and procedures.Monitoring visible emissions from paint boothsContinuous performance of administrative tasks associated with the process, including processing (and maintenance if required) of any records generated from these tasks.Understanding of VOC limitation requirements, and calculation and maintenance of VOC usage records.Various types of Respirators are required for this position.
