Zurich North America is looking for a Project Test and Quality Manager to work in a hybrid schedule out of our North America headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. As the Project Test and Quality Manager, you will be responsible for manage testing and quality activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the testing and quality activities are carried out to the agreed standards and that they comply with Audit and Regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Creation of test strategy for large to medium sized projects Execution of test delivery strategy (Static Testing, SIT, UAT) Reporting of test execution status, including progress and defect trends Representing test team progress and concerns in daily scrum meetings, including scrum of scrum meetings Providing final go/no-go recommendations prior to go-live based on test resultsBasic Qualifications: Bachelor degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Quality Assurance areaPreferred Qualifications: Insurance industry Experience with extending automation capabilities Experience with leading team members part of a 3rd party supplier Prior experience with setting up new projects as a test lead, including development of test strategy, staffing strategy and plan, project plan for testing, overall test execution plan, and regular status reporting Candidate who has prior experience with creating and executing test cases Candidate who has experience with leading others through the test phases of projects, including regression testing and user acceptance testing Candidate who has project experience with agile methodology, preferable scrum Leadership experience Experience in a lead QA role Ability to multi-task Strong analytical skills Excellent organizational and planning skillsAs a condition of employment at Zurich, employees must adhere to any COVID-related health and safety protocols in place at that time (https://www.zurichna.com/careers/faq).
