BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date._ Expected Duration:12 months Job Type: 40 hours work week & Contract for 12 months Pay Rate: $21-23 /hr Worker Schedule Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Job Duties: A Production Technician in the Manufacturing Unit works from specific verbal and/or written instructions to operate the appropriate process equipment to produce a consistent product. Major Responsibilities: * Loads and unloads process equipment * Operates process equipment to maintain product within customer specifications * Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards in the work area * Follows all safety regulations * Operate forklift * Maintain lot integrity by keeping accurate batch/run sheets * Knowledge of safety regulations associated with a chemical operation * Knowledge of proper material handling procedures * Ability to lift 50lbs * Able to work in hot or cold environments * Ability to stand extended amounts of time Qualification: * High school diploma or GED * Manufacturing experience * Experience operating a forklift Additional Description Operate jockey truck Various other tasks as needed Pay rate for this position would be $21-$23 per hour based on relevant experience.
