We currently have 56 facilities, of which 37 are manufacturing facilities in ten countries and our market capitalization is approximately $6.2 billion.Essential Functions of the Job:Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledgerMaintain a fixed asset system, ensure accurate and up-to-date recordsAssist in quarterly physical inventory audits to verify asset existence and conditionsPerform Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audits and prepare SOX narratives based in internal processes.Communicate with other divisions to balance intercompany entries and ensure accuracyAssist Senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsReview payroll records, expenses, and other assigned items for accuracy and complianceConduct reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial dataCollaborate with the team to support overall financial integrityEducation:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience:0-1 years in accountingKnowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:Basic understanding of journal entries, fixed assets, and general ledger functionsKnowledge of Sarbanes Oxley compliance and experience in conducting related auditsAbility to communicate effectively with internal divisions for intercompany balancingDetail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial reportingBasic understanding of monthly, quarterly, and annual closingsFamiliarity with reviewing Payroll records, expenses, and other financial elementsAbility to perform reconciliations to ensure data accuracyCollaborative team player, willing to assist senior accountants as neededPhysical & Environmental Factors:While performing the duties of this position the employee is frequently required to stand and walk and stoop or kneel; and regularly required to sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.The employee must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs.**Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California.
