Overview Cimpl's Meats, LLC, an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for a Refrigeration Technician at our Yankton, SD plant As a Refrigeration Technician you will:Perform daily recording of refrigeration equipment, utilities, room temperatures, chilled water softness, and waste water pH.Use required tools and/or equipment to perform skilled level work on ammonia industrial refrigeration system, which includes preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of all system components.Perform visual checks of freezer and cooler evaporators and recording issues to be addressed (fans, ice build-up, condensates drains).Adjust the compressor pressure and temperature as needed.Monitor ammonia levels of all accumulators and high-pressure vessels.Correct use of Lockout/Tagout procedures.Keep the maintenance shop and all work areas clean and organized.NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
