The Director, Oncology Forecasting Lead, Global Strategic Insights (GSI) reports to the Vice-President and Head, Oncology GSI. This individual is accountable for anticipating, assessing, and addressing the global strategic forecasting needs of the Oncology Franchise at Merck KGaA. In this capacity, they will be a trusted thought partner to select Brand Teams and early pipeline asset project teams. The Oncology Forecasting Lead will directly deliver forecasts for key priority brands in the Oncology Franchise. They will also provide training and coaching for other forecasters who provide topline forecasts to support necessary business cases and to quantify the impact of various market and asset events. On an ad hoc basis, they will occasionally support business cases for pipeline assets and help in evaluation of specific external business development (BD) opportunities. OVERVIEW The Senior Soft Goods Designer position focuses on a understanding, at a high level, fashion and color trends and applying this knowledge across all of our product lines. The Senior Soft Goods Designer works directly with the engineering and hardgoods design team to create soft goods for strollers, carseats and accessories in addition to creating technical specs for these products. Technicians prepare wood, fiberglass, and metal surfaces for painting. Paints parts, equipment, interior and exterior of vessels utilizing brushes, spray guns and rollers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Surface preparation to include stripping, scuffing, sanding, masking and priming surfaces Apply coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel or lacquer, as appropriate, to decorate and protect interior and exterior surfaces, trimmings and fixtures of boats Utilize hand and power tools including but not limited to; scraper, wire brush, basic tools, sandpaper, etc. Knowledge of the requirements for varnish prepping and sealing and the products utilized Repair and fabricate composite parts Interact with customers and respond to customer questions as they relate to paint and varnish applications Meet environmental requirements and best marina practices in acquisition, application, removal and disposal of paint, paint waste or residuals in accordance with OSHA requirements and federal and state laws Availability to work overtime in order to meet deadlines Other duties as assigned by Manager Safety and Environmental Responsibilities Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
